Jacqueline Fernandez grew up in Bahrain, Manama. She is Sri Lankan and comes from a multiethnic background. Jacqueline's dad Elroy Fernandez, is an Sri Lankan. She has two brothers and one older sister. In the 80s, her parents emigrated to Bahrain due to civil unrest in Sri Lanka. As a result, she was born and raised there. She received a scholarship to go to an undergraduate program at the University of Sydney in Sydney Australia, after completing her schooling in Bahrain. She was also a student at an institute called the Berlitz School of Languages, which helped her improve on French, Arabic and Spanish. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 competed for Miss Universe 2006 as well as Miss Universe 2006 when she won the title in 2006. In the wake of her winning the 2006 Miss Sri Lanka win, Padukone entered the television world and hosted a show about Sri Lankan business called Lanka Business Report. Padukone was born to badminton star Prakash Padukone. She was raised in Bangalore and born in Copenhagen. In her teens, Padukone competed in national championships of badminton at both the regional and international level. She later quit the sport in order to become a fashion designer. Padukone is a native of Mangalore, India. The language she speaks is Konkani is her origin. Padukone is a village in the Kundapura Taluk of Karnataka's Udupi District. Prakash Padukone has retired as an internationally renowned badminton athlete Her mother, on the other hand, is also a travel agent.
